The McCloud Mill is an ~18 minute drive from downtown Mount Shasta. We will be arranging shuttle transportation from to the Mill and back for those who confirm prior as Mount Shasta does not offer Uber/Lift (sorry!) We will share more information with those confirmed once we have a complete list.

Yes! The McCloud Mill has a parking area not far from the reception and ceremony area.

Mountain Cocktail! Come looking and most importantly feeling your best, whether thats covered in sequins or in your favorite Patagonia. We will be primarily on grass and gravel, so you might want to leave your highest and/or thinnest heels at home. Due to ever changing weather, consider bringing layers! I wish we knew! As we are having an outdoor ceremony and reception in a mountain town environment, the weather is subject to change at a moments notice. Keep an eye on the weather using this link (https://bit.ly/mz_weather_at_the_mill) in the weeks leading up to the wedding!

We love every single one of your kids, you know this! However, our main goal is to have a great time with our favorite adults and dance until they kick us out! Kids are welcome at any of the other wedding weekend events but we do kindly ask that you find other arrangements for your younger than teenage kids for our wedding day unless we have spoken and made special arrangements.

Coming from a lifelong vegetarian, please let us know! We are planning to account for vegetarian and gluten free options and having good general counts will be important! One benefit is we aren't having a seated meal meaning, you get to choose what you eat from a few different stations and can mix and match as you please. Hopefully this allows even more customization of your meal based on not only restrictions but preference as well! There is no way to answer them all here - and we know our wedding is an adventure and has had many changes! Absolutely not! We only made this change knowing every one of our guests could still keep their existing plans! This venue is actually 2 minutes faster to get to so - thats even a perk!
